Greg and Marlene Schubert are the proprietors of Farmer Johns. Both having a rural background, Greg and Marlene know and understand the tough business that makes up the primary producer sector.
Greg has extensive experience in rural merchandise supply, managing the Farmer Johns business since 1987 and prior to that with various suppliers across SA. He has taken an active role within the supply chain and has held a number of positions in the buying and business groups that Farmer Johns have been and are associated with. This includes a current board position with IHD Pty Limited. Greg believes that in order to offer the Farmer Johns client base the best in rural merchandise and associated services the management of the business needs to be involved at these higher levels to gain a more intimate knowledge and direction of the supply chain.
Marlene has an active role within the business end of the store - managing creditors and debtors. Decision making is obviously influenced by the financial health of any business - Marlene's efforts in the backroom keep our business healthy.
